"Ba Da Boom Da!"

LOL, The Shakespeare Code was awesome. And it wasn't just because of those Harry Potter references (including a possible ending for HP7)... (Behind the cut for the spoilerphobes.) It doesn't make much sense and I've probably missed out lots.

  • When Martha mentions that witchcraft is very 'Harry Potter', the Doctor says,  "Wait till you read book 7. I cried." Oooh, is that a hint on things to come, Doctor?
  • The irony of 'Barty Crouch Jr' using expelliarmus to defeat the bad guys. What would've made it even better was if he had said, "I had a small part in GoF, you know." but I'm guessing that would've gone too meta...
  • Yet, some more Rose references and Martha getting annoyed with the Doctor, while she was in bed with him!
  • The witches!
  • A Back To The Future reference!!!!!!
  • Shakespeare was cool and my inner fangirl was squeeing like a mad thing.
  • Martha hitting the Doctor on his back to restart one of his hearts....
  • Martha turning out to be the Dark Lady.
  • Shakespeare flirting a little with the Doctor and the Doctor's comment to it. "57 academics just punched the air."
  • At the end when Shakespeare is trying to get rid of the witches by using powerful words and looks to the Doctor and Martha for help and when neither Will or Doctor can think of the last word(s). Martha just goes, "... Expelliarmus!!" LOL And the Doctor says, "Good old JK!"
  •

  • I'll post a more coherent one when I've rewatched it again.
